Righteous government (repeat)
The Messianic Kingdom is a reality
Government is one of the facts of life in this world. All of human history has shown that we need to be governed. Not surprisingly, Scripture speaks about government:
Romyim 13 1Let every being be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from Elohim, and the authorities that exist are appointed by Elohim.
YAH uses even sinful governments to do His will:
Yirmeyahu 25 8“Therefore thus said יהוה of hosts, ‘Because you did not obey My words, 9see, I am sending and taking all the tribes of the north,’ declares יהוה, ’and Neḇuḵaḏretstsar the sovereign of Baḇel, My servant, and shall bring them against this land and against its inhabitants, and against these nations all around, and shall put them under the ban, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and everlasting ruins.
We should pray for those who govern us:
Kĕpha Aleph 2 13Be subject to every institution of man because of the Master, whether to the sovereign as supreme, 14or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of doers of evil, and a praise for those who do good. 15Because such is the desire of Elohim, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men, 16as free, yet not using your freedom as a cloak for evil, but as servants of Elohim. 17Respect all, love the brotherhood, fear Elohim, respect the sovereign.
All human governments will eventually end and Yeshua will reign over everyone forever:
Chazon 19 11And I saw the heaven opened, and there was a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True, and in righteousness He judges and fights.
Chazon 19 15And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Ěl Shaddai. 16And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS AND MASTER OF MASTERS.
